Tutorial: your first Python program online
Python is one of the easiest languages to start with, and you don't need to install it to learn. In ToolBoost, Python 3 runs directly in the browser tab through Pyodide, a WebAssembly build of CPython. The first run downloads the runtime (a few seconds); after that, scripts start instantly.
1. Print and variables. Type name = "Ayu" and print(f"Hello, {name}"), then press Run. The output panel shows the result.
2. Loops and lists. Try for n in range(5): print(n * n). Lists, dictionaries, list comprehensions and f-strings all work as they do on your computer.
3. Use the standard library. Modules like math, random, json, datetime and collections are available out of the box.
4. Fix errors with AI. When you see a traceback, open the AI chat and ask "why does this fail?". The assistant sees your file, explains the error in plain language and proposes a fix you can review as a diff.
Limits to know: programs that need input(), files on your disk, network sockets or native packages won't work in the browser. For learning, algorithms, homework and data practice, it covers almost everything.
